Mindset Matters
In EDL 5302, Dr. Harrison challenged us to self-assess our mindset. This prompted me to reevaluate the way I approached my educational practices. Recognizing the crucial role of a growth mindset, I am determined to foster learner choice, ownership, voice, and authentic learning through my innovative proposal. How can we prepare our teachers and students for a successful future without transforming our own thinking?
The Power of YET: Growth Mindset Plan
Carol Dweck's work on growth mindset has been a revelation. Her strategies offer a roadmap for transforming my approach to challenges and learning. I am excited to apply my learning to create a growth-oriented environment for both myself and the teachers I coach. By fostering a culture of continuous learning and development, I believe we can achieve remarkable progress together, which will, in turn, show growth in our students.
My Learning Blueprint
While reflecting, I crafted a Learning Manifesto that sums up my purpose, experiences, and philosophy in education. To support continuous growth, I arranged a collection of primary resources to stay informed and inspired on my journey.
Learning Networks
A powerful Personal Learning Network (PLN) is crucial for educators seeking continuous growth. The ADL program will encourage me to expand and deepen my PLN.
