Throughout these first two courses, I developed a deeper understanding of and implementation of blended learning. A dream I wanted to bring to life within my district is now a reachable goal that these courses have helped me streamline and plan. I'm excited to share my comprehensive Innovation Proposal and Implementation outline! This plan details how I aim to significantly enhance and support our new teachers and give them a voice and choice to create a blended learning culture in their classrooms.
These courses have motivated me to conduct more in-depth research on creating a blended learning community within my teaching and learning team. As a result, I have been improving my writing skills, and these courses have also encouraged me to think more broadly about larger ideas and projects. I had utilized blended learning before, but more so on the surface. Doing my research and seeing how others have effectively utilized this strategy makes me excited to get started. Working with my learning community through these courses has taught me much about how others can use this strategy in other fields. This course has established a strong foundation for my learning in future ADL classes. I'm thrilled to use and communicate these newly discovered visions to others. By collaborating and sharing our experiences, we can all open the door to the program's full potential and explore its exciting possibilities.
New teachers who have just graduated and entered the classroom can feel overwhelmed and in need of support. Unfortunately, time is not always on their side. To address this issue, I propose developing a blended learning approach for our new teacher program. This approach will provide mentorship, modeling, and accountability on a flexible schedule, and foster a culture of collaboration among teachers. It will also equip them with the necessary tools to implement this strategy in their classrooms.
